Sisters in Crime/LA and Mystery Writers of America/SoCal are co-sponsors of the inaugural California Crime Writers Conference (CCWC) scheduled for the weekend of June 13 - 14, 2009. The two-day event’s theme, “Breaking In and Breaking Out: Plotting the Write Course,” targets the needs of emerging and established writers alike.

CCWC is an effort to expand Sisters in Crime/L.A.’s successful biennial No Crime Unpublished Conference, held every other June. This new partnership will make it possible for more classes to be offered for established writers while also aiding those who hope to get published for the first time.
