A manuscript is made up of (broken into) a few hundred or couple thousand different Story Eventsi: some a sentence long, others many paragraphs. A Story Event discloses part of a story to the reader: sometimes the reader hears the tiny intrusion of a protagonist’s thoughts and other times the reader witnesses a long dialogue between characters.
